Ashlee's Thoughts

Just what I'm thinking at the moment I get on the computer.. I may post some quotes, some pictures, or just a paragraph saying how I feel or what went on that day.

I’m gonna break soon..

I’m tired.

I’m lonely.

I’m sick.

I’m tired of being lonely.

I’m sick of being tired.

I’m tired of being sick.

And on top of it all,

I’m scared and stressed.

I’m not some heartless bitch. I have feelings. I can’t work my hands to the bone constantly, especially when I’m so freaked out all the time.

I just can’t.

I’m sorry I’m not the daughter you wanted, but I can’t change.

This is who I am.

Fuck

There was a shooting in the apartments next to mine today.

Yesterday my friend ran away.

No one has heard from her since.

I hope to God she’s okay.

Ima kick her ass if I see her. I’m so pissed that she has people worrying like this..

But I’ll be glad to know she’s okay.

“Right Round” by Flo Rida

At first.. it pissed me off. My first thought was “HOW DARE HE?!”

But.. it grew on me.

Ugh.

I still love the Dead Or Alive version better.

I always will.

If you haven’t heard one or both of them, go to

www.playlist.com/xashleexannx

They’re both there.

I like an escalator because an escalator can never break, it can only become stairs. There would never be an escalator temporarily out of order sign, only an escalator temporarily stairs. Sorry for the convenience. Mitch Hedberg
What a face full of wrinkles! It’s like an accordion!! My mom [Talking about some old man. Wow, she’s so nice. lmao]

It’s been a while..

So.. I have no Internet right now. I’m on an office computer at the apartments I live at.. I’ve missed chances to blog about stuff. But I won’t let one thing pass. I want to blog about this..

I want to blog about our new president. [Who I love, BTW.]

I wrote this all in my second period social studies class while I was SUPPOSED to be writing about the cotton gin. Yeah, this is way more important than learning how to pick the seeds out of cotton..

Our nation has gotten through so many things. Things that have changed so much since the times of our forebears. One of the biggest things we have overcome as a nation is slavery. We now have equal rights. [Well, sort of. Gays still don’t get the rights they deserve in most places. But anyway.] Two men helped change our country so that EVERYONE is equal. These men are former president Abraham Lincoln and Martin Luther King Jr. Thanks to these men, slavery has been abolished, and people are treated they way they SHOULD be treated. We have come so far as to have an African American president. A long time ago, this would have been thought as insane. This never would have happened. But today, thanks to the people who have fought so hard to get equal rights for everyone, we can now do things people couldn’t even IMAGINE. Martin Luther King Jr. said “We shall overcome.” Well, we HAVE overcome. And I am so happy we did.

Here’s to a new hope, America.

:]

Okay, I pretty much just rambled. But..there’s at least one or two good parts in there.

Power tends to corrupt, and absolute power corrupts absolutely. Great men are almost always bad men.
